Spiritual Life On Campus:
Environment: The spiritual environment at Lutheran South Academy is interwoven into the daily fabric of student life. It is not uncommon to see students and teachers praying together during class and in the hallways. An atmosphere of sharing life under the Gospel of Jesus is cultivated as student and teachers learn more about faith together. Every morning, classes begin with devotions and students engage in study and reflection of God's Word in required Bible and Spiritual Life classes.

Chapel Experiences: In weekly chapels, students and faulty gather together as the family of Christ to praise and worship God. Chapels are directed by our Campus Pastor, faculty members and supporting church leaders. Each of the three, age-appropriate, upbeat chapels emphasizes the study of God's Word, prayer and praise. Lower School students are led in worship using creative music that encourages their faith development. Middle and Upper School students have their own student led chapel bands that encourage a a time to worship and interact with a living and active triune Lord.
This year's chapels are based on Psalm 62:2 "He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken." As always, you are invited to attned the Friday chapels. For times and location, contact the office at 281-464-8299.
Faith Opportunites: Students have the opportunity to attend prayer gatherings, discussion group and weekend evening events providing opportunities to praise God and study His Word.
