Lutheran South Academy exists to secure the immediate future of our students by preparing them academically for their college years, to secure their extended future by preparing them to be Christian leaders as adults, and to secure their eternal future by developing their relationship with the Lord and Savior.

Securing Their Future

Lutheran South Academy believes in educating the whole child. We encourage our students to strive for excellence — excellence in academics, excellence in athletics and extra-curricular activities, excellence in faith and character, excellence in every aspect of their lives. This standard of excellence is what will secure their future. To accomplish this, we ask our students to "SAIL" with us as they focus on four specific areas of their lives:

Salvation

Focusing on the eternal salvation and spiritual well-being of students, nurturing their faith through a Christ-centered education that fosters a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and guiding them to embrace God's grace, love, and forgiveness.

Opportunity

Providing a diverse array of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities that complement and enhance student's academic journey, offering opportunities for them to explore their interests, develop new skills, and cultivate their passions. All activities are led by dedicated Christian individuals who serve as role models, nurturing students' character, values, and faith through their leadership and guidance.

Unity

Cultivating a sense of unity and community within the school, promoting Christian relationships, emphasizing the important of unity in the body of Christ, and fostering an environment of love, forgiveness, and mutual support.

Truth

Upholding the truth of God's Word as the ultimate authority, teaching students to know, understand, and apply biblical teaching, guided by the principle of "sola scriptura" which acknowledges the Bible as the sole source of divine revelation and Christian doctrine.
