Lower School Book Fair Is Here!

Dear Parents and Families:

The Book Fair is coming!

Our Book Fair theme – Reading Oasis: A Cool Place to Discover Hot Books! – takes students on a journey back to Ancient Egypt to an oasis overflowing with fun, engaging, and affordable books kids want to read. Giving kids access to good books and the opportunity to choose books that will motivate them to read more. And like most acquired skills, the more kids practice reading, the better they’ll get.

ONE FOR BOOKS CONTEST:  October 14 – 25.  Each class will be collecting loose change and larger donations for the One For Books program.  The class that raises the most money will be awarded with a pizza or ice cream party!  (Two winning classrooms: one from PK3-1st, another from 2nd-5th).  All funds collected go toward three national non-profit organizations dedicated to helping kids and families in need: Kids in Distressed Situations, Inc., The Kids in Need Foundation and The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
