As one of three schools in the Lutheran Education Association of Houston (LEAH), Lutheran South Academy is dedicated to providing students with an authentic Christian environment, academic excellence, and a high-quality student experience.
Your gifts make it possible!
The longevity of our ministry platform has always been dependent upon like-minded families who are seeking the best educational experience for their children while cultivating a student’s relationship with Christ.
In 1949, the original Lutheran High School opened in Houston with 50 students and a tuition cost of $100 per year. Originally, the school was designed to serve Lutheran students from all across Houston. Today, we serve children and families across a spectrum of beliefs, ethnicities, and socio-economic levels who come to our schools across the Houston region for a variety of reasons. Our graduates attend colleges and universities across the United States and are adding value to their communities as Christian leaders. Through outstanding academic programs, in an environment of Christian love and care, the lives of young people are being transformed for service in His kingdom.
Tuition has changed a bit since 1949, and many families desire a Christian education for their children but simply cannot afford it. During the 2018-2019 school year, the average award for students who received tuition assistance at LSA was $2,561. Our tuition assistance program is very important to our school as it continues to enable a wide variety of students to receive an excellent Christian education.
Please prayerfully consider supporting the LSA Annual Fund. All gifts to the LSA Annual fund will be used to support students with a financial need on the Lutheran South Academy campus. You can make a gift online or you can send a check, made payable to LEAH Schools, to the LEAH Schools main office at 718 F.M. 1959, Suite B, Houston, TX 77034. Be sure to put LSA in the memo line.
Thank you for your partnership and support of Lutheran South Academy and our students through the LSA Annual Fund.
