Admission Procedures 2019-2020
□ Open Online Application and complete necessary information.

□ Upload the following forms under “Additional Student Information”:
□ Send Recommendation Forms under “Referral Documents” – While applying online, provide an email address to obtain recommendation form(s) from a previous or current teacher. Middle School and High School applicants are required to have an English and Math recommendation form. Lower School applicants are required to have only one recommendation form completed. Teachers will be able to send directly to LSA through our application software.
□ Schedule Admissions/Placement Testing - Test Dates 2017-2018 at LSA (other dates & locations are available):
October 20th December 8th January 19th February 10th March 30th
April 27th June 20th July 20th
All new students applying for Admission to Lutheran South Academy in grades 5-12th will be required to take the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam). Families can register directly on the ISEE website (www.iseetest.org) to take the exam at one of our open test dates. Payment is made directly on line and registration is necessary in order to take the test. Other open test sites throughout Houston are available if you cannot take the test at this time.
For all levels, these test scores are used as a resource for us to best serve our students.
Lutheran South Academy does not base the admission decision solely on the test,
but it is one facet taken into consideration in the admission process.
□ Parent-Student Interview: When all of the above steps are completed, you will be contacted to schedule your Parent-Student Interview with the principal or Director of Admissions. Parent(s) and student are required to attend the interview.
You will be notified by the Director of Admissions concerning the student’s acceptance.
