Pioneer 4-H

Lutheran South Academy Pioneer 4-H is open to all LSA Students in 3rd through 12 grade. 4-H members meet monthly in the High School Hub on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 AM. Meetings last about 15 to 20 minutes. PARENTS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. 4-H is family project based club. You will pick a project and work to complete that project during the school year.

To Join

In order to join LSA Pioneer 4-H you need to join 4-H via 4-H online.

PLEASE NOTE: You must select Harris County 4-H! LSA is located in Harris County so that is our 4-H….do NOT select the county you live in.

Also you will need to select what project you want to participate in. You do not have to complete a project to participate in a project. Any project you select the website will curate events and emails that align with the specific project you select.

Project Requirements

Project Completion Requirements

Engage in 6 learning activities. Each activity should be between at least 45 minutes. This can include research, videos, practices etc.
Complete community service (if you are competing at the state level I encourage you to find a community service that ties directly into your project)
Engage in a Leadership Activity. The easiest way to do this is to present about your project at a 4-H meeting or event at LSA.
Compete or Exhibit your project. 4-H has County, District and State Contests.
